Good morning everyone. All is good here as I'm kicking off the weekend with WADDB and Bagels. Wishing you a reflective evening Connie with friends this evening. Great news for Pudsey ... stay warm Gerry and Fogfighter. Weekend chores and projects are on my schedule this afternoon. But first we have game plans this morning with ROOT, the RPG. Have a great day everyone

Good Saturday morning. Sunny and warmish today - it was 73 degrees here yesterday! But we're supposed to get freezing rain tonight. When we went in town last night, we noticed they had already treated the main roads with salt brine.
Settlers 2 sounds like a great way to spend the day, Fogfighter!
Connie, sounds like the perfect way to mark your sad day - surrounded by friends and raising a toast.

Good morning everyone. We're heading into a couple of rainy days, perfect for sorting through my kitchen cupboards and reorganizing pots and pans into a more logical order, with the heavy cast iron stuff at waist height for easy reach. My coffee this morning is a yummy new bean from a local roastery that my handyman recommended. Nanaimo may not be the world's nicest city (not by a long shot!) but it does have a couple of good coffee roasteries. Connie, It's lovely that you can remember your husband surrounded by friends. The laptop crashed again and when I tried to restart it went into an endless loading loop with error after error. Windows did finally load, but it looks as though another trip back to Toronto is in the cards for it.

Good Sunday morning everyone. Oh my Hagatha, sorry to hear your laptop saga continues. We are back to normal winter temps and enjoyed a nice walk this morning. Today's main chore includes a good vacuum as Max has been shedding his coat. And then we'll continue some more Magic: The Gathering (MTG) gaming. But first it's time for WADDB and bagels. Wishing everyone a wonderful Sunday

Good Sunday morning. Jeepers, Gerry, you just can't catch a break with the weather!
Had to run down and do the night close/feedings at the last minute last night. They were heading to the ER and both mom and daughter have Influenza A. So glad I have my flu shot and COVID booster on board as I took RayLynn home from the bus Thursday when her mom wasn't feeling well.
Task for today is to get my pepper seeds started in their little indoor seed starters.
When life gives you tomatoes, make Bloody Marys.

Good morning everyone,
It's a bright and beautiful morning, quite warm and Spring-like, and the cats are going nuts because of the change in the weather. Zoomies all morning. I have a few things to tidy up out in the garden in preparation for the arrival of trees. It really feels like Spring, sun pouring in through the French Doors and shrubs starting to go into bud. Apart from heavy rain we didn't really have a winter this year -- though we have had heavy snow in March in years gone by so it's still a remote possibility.
I have many birds in my pond these days. I was worried that the new stream was too fast for them but they still drink and bathe in it. Once I get the new trees planted around the back they'll have places to perch.
I'm always up to date on my Flu and COVID boosters. I can't afford to get sick.
I think I'm quite ready for another adventure.

Sunday without much sunshine. Just above freezing point and raining rather than snowing but still snow on the ground. Sorry to hear about Hagatha's laptop PC-problems always annoying. My settlers are happily settling on their island. As I recall the first levels were easy but later the neighbouring barbarians became more agressive and tougher to deal with. Anyway, Happy first Sunday in March GameBoomers!

Fogfighter, have fun with the gaming. I've never tried any of those games being strictly an action/RPG player.
I think I'm quite ready for another adventure.
