Oldbroad, I hope your brother is okay. That sounds like a really bad fall.
Draclvr, the farm market sold this wonderful Russian garlic -- massive cloves. I froze a few bulbs for the winter. You only ever need to peel one or perhaps two for any recipe.
Apparently that variety grows very well here so I'll get some in the fall and plant it.
I think I'm quite ready for another adventure.

That's kind of a relief - I was worried maybe he COULDN'T get up right away. Wise of him to just stay down for a few minutes.

Good Morning everyone! Wide Awake Double Dark Brew is ready. Oldbroad I hope your brother is feeling okay after his fall. Yesterday it was cloudy and windy here...I froze walking! Right now the temp is only 19 degrees, but it will warm up into the 30s by late morning. I'll need to bundle up again to walk without the sunshine. I do wish spring would "spring"...tomorrow is supposed to be the first day of spring...I don't think it is going to feel like it! Enjoy your day everyone! Gerry

Good morning everyone. Connie, that is so sad. We're still in the midst of a rain storm, but it's warm; warm enough that Dude refused to come in until very late last night. The little jerk. Even shaking the bag of treats out the door didn't lure him in. I had a nice little cat house made for him so that he can stay in there if I'm not up to let him in. He's afraid of it. Line dancing this afternoon.
I think I'm quite ready for another adventure.

Good morning everyone. I’m really sorry to hear about that Connie...that can hit hard. Keeping you and the Eagle members in my thoughts and prayers. Time for a cup of WADDB and bagel. Wishing you all a blessed day.

Good Friday morning. Warm and springy weather today.
Connie, that is just so sad to hear. Laurie is lucky to have all of you to support her.
My colonoscopy was squeaky clean yesterday. I won't ever need to have one again as one wouldn't be recommended for 5 years and I would be 83. At that point the risks outweigh the benefits. YAY! Finally an advantage to being old!

Good morning everyone; Welcome to the first day of spring even though it sure doesn't look like it out there. Our weather has been a roller coaster, a few days ago it was up to 58 F & today it's 33 with sleet. Have a good day everyone & stay safe out there.

Good morning, everyone.
It's an absolutely gorgeous Spring day today. I made it to Pilates and got through the class with not too much strain on my shoulder, so that's an improvement.
Draclvr, I was originally scheduled for a five-year-recheck on the scope, but then I received a letter from BC Cancer saying that I was in a low-risk group and am now in the ten-year recheck category. Hopefully that's true.
I think I'm quite ready for another adventure.
