The thing about THIS particular cat is that he is very mellow and friendly and greets us all at the door when we arrive. He hangs out during the class and we are regularly treated to head butts and lavish affection. He likes to sit on our mats and so everyone just makes room for him. I am so totally stealing him.

My weather is cloudy again today temps in the 30s with a slight wind chill and some showers expected later today. I'll have to bundle up for my walk before the rain showers arrive.

I was watching TV last night when I heard a strange buzzing noise. Looked for the source inside the house then realized it was coming from the septic tank alarm system. I checked the breaker and it was in the on position. The fellow I spoke to on the phone last night said he thinks it's likely the pump. They'll be here this morning to have a look.

And I must ask the age-old question: why cannot these things go wrong during the week, instead of on the weekend when prices are doubled? It's a mystery.

Annnnd...my laptop just crashed.

It's always something isn't it hagatha? I'm gearing up for the gas company coming out again this week even though we still haven't done anything with our old stove. I told my brother I hope the guy doesn't pull a gun on him when he flies off the handle at the guy.

Well, it turned out that the septic tank pump's breaker had actually flipped. Whoever labelled the breaker panel mislabelled the pump's breaker. Anyway, that usually means the pump has failed.

The fellow from the tank company came by early this morning and fortunately had the the correct pump in his truck because they know this property and its system, and all is well now. I'm rather glad I have the tank warning system. A few more days and this could have been a disaster of epic proportions.

Good to know it was fixed so quickly, hagatha!

Whew! That Kimchi sure has a strong smell!

Once you get past the smell, Kimchi is so good!

I could kill for some good Korean food. I haven't had any authentic Korean since we left Vancouver all those years ago, but we can get Kimchi.

My computer's Start button is sending me a semaphore message, red, red, red, blue. My interpretation of what I've read online is that this is telling me that something very bad is happening.

I made Kimchi and Avocado Quesadillas from Sunset Magazine and I'm also going to try Kimchi Fried Rice (from somewhere), maybe tomorrow.

That cat that has it made is in the cat tower in my living room sleeping. When he looks up at me, he reminds me of The Joker. He has black around his eyes and across his mouth or just below his mouth. The rest of his face is white.

Oldbroad I stared at the puzzle for a moment...didn't feel like working on it...maybe today! Hagatha I would have given up on that laptop a long time ago...I think you need to say goodby to Dell and try a different brand and no more laptops!

Missed the break room yesterday. Decided to tackle just one room to declutter. Hubby spends a lot of time reading in the sunporch and his collections and piles of papers from 2022 and general junk were just out of hand. I threw so much cr*p away!

Draclvr, John never, ever threw away a single piece of paper. When I moved I had to sift through 40 year's worth of his academic work, right down to the my handwritten notes from our research work in the 1980's.
