Good morning, Danish, Donuts and Bagels in the Break Room. I'm thinking about our trip to the Keys. We will leave here the Sat. before Memorial Day, and come back the following Sat. Chuck will bring his boat, the house we're staying at is on the water and has a large dock. It also has swimming pool and beautiful patio. It belongs to one of Chuck's customers, and they are giving Chuck the week for free. Enjoy the day and hug someone. hug hearts

Good Monday morning. Sunny and heading for 80 degrees F today - and so far anyway, no wind! Hopefully it will dry the garden out so we can get those tomatoes in tomorrow or the next day.

Even though it was Mother's Day, I did get 12 new giant grasses planted yesterday. I lost all my 15' tall arborvitae trees by the pool this winter and it is very bare. It will be a few years before they get tall enough to provide a screen. The Germans seldom wear any clothes out by the pool, so they will have to chance the neighbors being outside! Luckily they aren't real close.

That sounds like a wonderful trip, connie! Memorial Day is fast approaching.

When life gives you tomatoes, make Bloody Marys.

Good morning everyone.

As I was finishing off the power washing yesterday I noticed a wonderful thing -- one of my Wisteria vines has finally flowered, just four blooms, but a first for these vines. I was very disappointed when year after year they didn't bloom. My landscaper suggested that they might not be old enough yet, and it looks like she might be right. Anyway, perhaps next year I'll have a nice display; they grow over an arbour and feature prominently in my garden and so far they've just been greenery.

I think I'm quite ready for another adventure.

Good day everyone; It's only 58F, cloudy & windy. Off to the dentist for 2 fillings, I hate the dentist.
Have a great day everyone.
