Don't worry hagatha, the rain is coming...it's been none stop all day long here, I even went out in the rain and planted some seeds, hopefully the rain will get them off to a good start.
Good to know that the ivy grows fast, I will keep it neat and tidy when it does.

Copper, we're not getting any rain here. It was sunny all afternoon. No rain in sight.
I think I'm quite ready for another adventure.

Good Thursday morning. We are glad to be without rain for a few days, but I'm sure we will be whining about it being too hot and dry soon.
And yay! I got 66 tomatoes in yesterday. I still have to plant my peppers, but they can wait a little while.
Just sitting here enjoying the twittering and arguing of the hummingbirds with a cup of that coffee, soot. I'm just about to finish up my first 10 pounds of sugar. In another week or so, they will slow down as they start nesting.
When life gives you tomatoes, make Bloody Marys.

GoOd morning everyone.
It's a beautiful day, again, which is starting to feel like bad news. There are fires everywhere now. I'd better get all of my window-washing and concrete-cleaning done this weekend before there's a ban on using water for those jobs.

Many years ago I went with some friends (3 males and the wife of one of them) to a nudist colony in Indiana for the day. I seriously considered going into a washroom clothed but coming out carrying my clothes instead of wearing them. I chickened out though. I lived in Northwest Indiana most of my life. I remember a colony near the Illinois / Indiana border. A short distance west of Roselawn, IN it was a 45 min drive south from home. I got my first car age 16 back in 1973. I went there with 2 friends. We were not allowed entry, too young. We were disappointed It being a while back I don't know if you remember going to that one or not. It was in the town of Lake Village, IN
It's never too late!
