As the Steam page says, “all is not right at Miscatonic University,” which as anyone
who has ever been there will know, probably goes without saying. A key institution in
the Cthulhu mythology, it’s an Ivy League centre for the study of the arcane, not to mention its practice.

Which tells you a fair bit about where the narrative is likely going.

A sequel to the earlier game Call of the Sea, this game does a good job of drawing out the linkages.
While you don't need to have played that game, my personal enjoyment was certainly enhanced
by that earlier experience and I expect yours will be too. One previous character is front and centre,
another an intriguing touch.

thanks Draclvr and flotsam.

It's nice to be important but it is much more important to be nice.

Thanks flotsam (and Drac)! Since I recently bought the game (rather than waiting like I usually do) I think I may start it soon. I have read that you are asked at the beginning of the game whether you played Call of the Sea or not and if so, which ending you had chosen. Not remembering doing this at all, I looked at a video of the games end but still don't recall choosing so I don't know what I chose, but I'm guessing my answer won't drastically change this game. I'm hoping I won't get too seasick because I did love the puzzling in the first game (where I got a little sick at times but not too bad). smile
