On the first Broken Sword game, I started out doing concept work and painting backgrounds, then we decided to change the style and I was moved into the role of producer, which I kept for the second game.
For the third game I had a key role in developing the story and overall design, working closely with Charles Cecil throughout. I then developed much of the detail in the various gameplay sections. I implemented some of the gameplay and also wrote or edited the dialogue before it went through a final script edit. Then I prepared all the actor scripts and devised the actor recording schedule as well as assisting the voice director.
