We'll try this again. I wrote one post already, hit Submit and I think I broke the forum because I couldn't get back on lol

I'm starting for the fourth time - Morrowind. Hopefully, this time I'll finish it - that is if I can ever level past one. Good night nurse it's taking me a long time. I'm in
Caldera right now getting the [blip] beat out of me by cliff racers and those big lizard critters. I think I'll head back to Balmora and appropriate more items to sell. I need to find some torches. I swear the last time I played I had torches up the ying yang. Now I have nada. I need to find a store that sells them I guess.

Anywho, just thought I'd share laugh (syd hits the Submit button and prays she doesn't break the forum again)

Ya know something TM - that could be why I'm moving so slow. I must have torches in my ying yang instead of my inventory
whistle

Oh, I'll have fun nickie as soon as I can level up past total whimp. Right now I could do with a good Spirit Hammer evil

Maggers you would think the server would have more manners than to hiccup right after we go to a new forum program lol

I just contracted yellow tick disease which windows took exception to and booted me out of the game. Obviously XP and yellow tick disease are not compatable as this is the third time it's done that. I am really trying not to contract said disease but not having much luck lol

Smiley I just remembered we were going to start MM8 after I saved the galaxy (which I did rather handily I might add). You want to play that? I can always go back and forth between the two games.

Syd, that is the first time I have ever heard of that happening. I've run Morrowind and XP without any diffiulty. Do you have the most recent patch? The only other thing I can think of is that maybe your PC is beginning to jump the gap between fantasy and reality. Each time your character is injured your computer responds in kind... I would suggest not playing any First Person Shooters for awhile. lol

TM I haven't applied any patches because I have all the games loaded and was under the impression that patches weren't needed. ase. The problem seems to be Caldera. I've been kicked out about 6 times now and it's getting old lol

I'll look for a patch and see if there are any. I swear I played it before in XP without any problems. It could be my video drivers also - maybe they are too new for the game. Or it really could be my PC has crossed the reality line laugh

Sure why not, I have nothing else to do since I've finished most of the games that I have lol

Actually I haven't played since I posted about it on the 8th. Real world stuff getting in the way. I'm still level one. Hopefully I'll be able to get some playing in today. I dabbled with Might and Magic VIII a bit. What is a good character to start out with and how do you pick up other party members?

I started a new game in Morrowind myself wink

As for Might and Magic VIII, You recruit party members either by visiting the "Adventurer Inn" or you can recruit some in the cities.

Regarding which character is good to start with, I've only played with 4 diffrent ones (knight, cleric, necromancer and vampire). But it's usually good to start with either a knight or a cleric.

Well then how are you doing in Morrowind?

I did start as a Knight in MM8 - I have a necromancer and vampire in my party - I've never played with those two characters so it'll be interesting.

Smiley since you started over in Morrowind do you want to stick with it and then go onto MM8?

I don't know how it's going. Left my character in Balmora, since I was bored.

I went with a Knight in MM8 as well laugh

It's up to you syd, I can always jump between the two games.

Okay let's jump then - I'm bored with right now also - I'm still only level one and can't seem to do anything productive. Nothing like getting beat up by baddies in two games laugh
