Seems like the same names keep coming up so I think I will chime in for a change and ask a question, like what are the clues telling Bernard that they aren't telling me? All I get is zilch, nada, nothing!
To love is to be happy with!

Not that one Bernard, - another 2 clues leading to 2 clues! : 4 Well known Hans Christian Andersen story about a 'winter royal' 5 1946 film thriller based on the novel Some Must Watch by Ethel Lina White. (2 words together in this one! ) sierramindy, the answers to the clues contain one word (2 in clue 5) which is something that is in the game e.g the answer to clue 2 is Veronica Lake so the game features a lake! Not Nostradamus Becky.

You're right so far Becky, but they are not necessarily all in the same location. EDIT I didn't think I could fit Doris Day into this but here goes: 1958 film comedy starring Doris Day & directed by Gene Kelly! (as before one word in the title is a feature of the game)

It's very interesting to see how many elements are repeated in many games. The 3rd clue must be Oh Well I think. Clue #6: 3 Novels by King that year(Man, he writes really fast!): Christine, Pet Sematary, The Cycle of the Werewolf. I try GK2 Bernard

Not GK2 Bernard, I know what you mean about the same elements being repeated in many games but I've now realised the extent of the diversity - the guesses so far are a world apart from this game. 'Oh Well' is right - I knew Stephen King wrote a lot of books but 3 in 1 year! sorry Bernard, should have checked that first - but it is one of the one's you mentioned! Another clue: 1857 poem (or as I now realise maybe 1 of many from that year !) by Charles Baudelaire.

Mmmm, Les Fleurs du Mal. The more clues you give the more confused I get. Is it of the KQ games? Bernard

Delaware St. John: Seacliff Tragedy? Hmmm. Just saw your clue that it's an older game. Retracting Seacliff -- Pilgrim? 2nd retraction -- 1857 poem by Baudelaire -- Les Metamorphoses du Vampire? Are we looking for Metamorphoses or for Vampire, I wonder?

It's very interesting to see how many elements are repeated in many games. Bernard It was interesting to try posting clues like that, but I did realise from the comments, that they needed to be less 'universal' & more specific to the game I meant. Also I did notice that there were not many contributers - I don't know what you think Becky about people posting here about the sort of clues they like & don't like or should it be a separate thread? On your clue Bernard - I haven't got a.....
