Point taken, Robert.
Presumably there is no way in which a Saved game from me could be inserted into somebody else's game folder, to enable them to play the game? When I used to try and get the game to run, I found that I could access the Load arrow on the introductory screen, though it always showed empty slots (obviously). The game always froze when the narrator started on his "The seas.." so if a Save could be got into the right slot, would that help? I guess the save would have to be the one that saved the first screen in the decompression chamber, since the Escape key trick simply cuts out the introductory video sequence, and KingKnightRider said that the game ran fine for him after that.
If there is a chance that this would work, I'd be happy to send a Save - if I were to be told how to do it. I don't know if my saves go into the game folder or My Documents or somewhere else, but I am willing to give it a go.
