Gremlin returns to former haunts in the Welsh countryside to see what's been happening in his absence -- and finds that there are plenty of ghostly goings-on. An oath, waiting for the right twist to allow for a break in its ancient constraint, and an unsuspecting house-sitter who faces a deadly, elusive antagonist.

Thanks Becky and congratulations Gremlin, very good review, I'm looking forward to play Rhiannon, after reading your review I decided it's definitively my kind of game.

Hiya Becky..played the game and found it really disappointing. There isn't really a story line and as the character doesn't speak or make comments it's really hard to find out what to do next and the doors are confusing...maybe I'm just too lazy to use my brain..lol

Wabit,

There is a strong storyline. Read documents and you will know the reason and what to do in the game.

thumbsup gremlin!

Too many games, too little time.

If i hadn't been able to see MaG's walkthrough i would never have been able to get through this game. The first part to me was frustrating. When i got to the 2nd half it got better(or i got smarter but i doubt it). I over all liked the game -good sound and graphics and i had no problems running it-but seemed to be the 'clues' were not at all easy to figure...and there were several places you kept wanting to go back to thinking there were clues there or something to use but they were just 'red herrings' i guess...but-really-not fair and wasted time...not fun in that respect. I didn't love it...but i liked it...and i think if they do another (which i hope they do) maybe the things that irked me won't be there!

I'm enjoying the game- yes it is making me think but I find this a good thing. I at times stumble around when walking- not clicking enough to get to that right step in order to hit the door or stairs--lol but this is a good one for me. Nice change from some of the games I have been playing- graphics are good and not a lot of chit chat- some music but mostly me figuring out what to do. Good game- I look forward to their next one.

Hi Wabit, and a big WELCOME,
from one who agrees with you all the way. Too many doors so that even trying to follow MaG's walkthrough I kept getting lost. In order to find my way, I would wander back to places that I recognized, like the fireplace in the living room, and reread the walkthrough again (and again, several times) to finally find where to go next. Then there were those items that I kept finding but never could pick up, I seemed to be extra good at this, but finding the ones I needed wasn't that easy. I never got far enough in the game to worry about the storyline.
Personally, I don't think the problem is lazy brains, but rather brains that work differently. What is hard for me can be easy for others; but on the other hand, what is easy for me can be hard for others, so things balance out in the end.

To love is to be happy with!

Good thing that many of the doors are a different color - I have to admit I keep ending up outside and going around the house to get in the other door. lol But so far the game is quite enjoyable with wonderful effects and ambient sound. A very fitting game for the Halloween mood! zombie

The house is very typical of Welsh farmhouses of that period with lots of small-ish rooms that are relatively easy to heat. Maybe this is one of the reasons I liked the game - the setting felt very familiar and believable.

Authenticity is important. It's frustrating to play a game in a place you know fairly well (New York City, for instance) and see things that you know are wrong.
