Have you taken the syringe Lizau? If so, have you checked to make sure you still have the cylinder as I found if you open the safe & take it before you have done everything else it disappears from inventory & you have to open the safe again to re-take it! smile

Hi Chrissie, yes I have the syringe in my inventory and I also have the cylinder too...actually the safe door is still open. Im trying to think what I haven't done was wondering when u finsih doing the circle on the illumination puzzle is it suppose tell u, if u have done it correctly? cause I did it and then just put the secret word in. Also the first time I thought I had finished and it wouldn't allow me to leave I got a flash of the desk, so I went in and had another look, apart from the books there is nothing else to look or pickup..yes I did read the 3 books...I'm totally lost..hummm!!

It does seem like you have done everything - the only things I can think of that you might have missed: did you look at the message Irina wrote in blood on the floor next to the body (it also might be worth trying clicking on the body again) & did you check the space where the missing book should be in the Ad astra...alcove. luck

Hi Chrissie, I went back and had a look at a saved game I had when I put the thumbtack on the illumination puzzle and I did the whole thing again, and still the same, but this time I got to see that flash showing me the table the thumbtucks and the thread, I posted b4 saying I had lost my thumbtucks and MaG said I will get them back in my inventory and there not there so its showing me to go back and pick them up..but I already have..confusing

Hi Lizau, I'm sorry you're having so much trouble. I know this seems obvious but did you read the illuminated script in full before placing the tack? If you are closely following the walkthrough in this part it's all too easy to miss a small step!

I'm also stuck at the pentagram puzzle as my wayward fingers plus pathetic mouse control = absolute frustration. Is that saved game still available? If so I would be very grateful for it. Thanks.

thanks MaG. Sorry for the delay responding but I have been out all afternoon. I've transferred it into my save file and I'm moving again. bravo

I love this game and hope that this is the only section that needs nimble fingers or I'm sunk! I'm sure there are others like me with arthritic or damaged hands and really wish that game makers would think about us when they are designing them. A skip button would be SO nice!

Glad that it worked for you.
Er... There's a lot of drawing on this game. But they're all doable.

Hi MaG. HELP! Like Jill, I am also stuck at the darned pentagram puzzle. I just can't seem to move fast enough. Please, may I have that saved game, too. Also, PLEASE remind me how to install the saved game. I keep on forgetting.

I have loved this game up to now, but the pentagram puzzle is becoming a deal breaker. I am asking for a saved game an instructions on how to use it, many thanks.

Well, i can't believe it...made it (finally) to inside the castle. have knocked away the pillars to enter gargoyle area. haven't been able to get them to work....consulted walkthrough...says one of them needs:
Click to reveal..

(hope i did 'spoiler right)

I don't have the thing! all is still in cabinet at doc's office and how did anyone know to take it?...how do i get back to the town? or do i have to go back to a save(waaaaaayyy, wayyyy back..n take and begin again from there?
