I cannot find the parts I need, in the laboratory. Also, I cannot get the combination lock work. I want to play the game. But, I keep getting help because I just can't work the puzzles. Please help, once again. Thank you so much.

Julia,

The lab has a lot of things. Look at all the cabinets - check all the items in there.

The combination solution is in the walkthroughhere. Your list of books might be different from the walkthrough but the shapes might be the same.

Post if there's any that you need more info on.

I cannot figure the lab out, at all. Please give me an answer as to how it works. I am not mentally sound, so it takes a long time to work puzzles. But this one I Just cannot work. Thank you

Julia,

Combination lock:
Go back to the combination lock and use the lock.
Turn the central circle to have the green diamond on top.
Turn the outside ring to have the spiral on top.
The second from outside ring to have the quarter moon with star on top.
Turn the third from outside ring to have the Z on top.
The lock opens and the flowing snot stops.

Now, continue by reading the book at the very center.
Go from there now.

Okay, I will admit I am stupid when it comes to these games. I follow what the walkthrough says, and I still can't move on. A Vampyre Story is hard. I am at the bridge where everything is blue. I talked to the Lake MOnster and and the Lake. I am where the green snot is. I worked the puzzle but nothing happens.

I am also playing Voyages and I cannot get the port holes to open. Again, I followed everything, but theu won't budge. Are there any new games similar to Amazon? I didn't have a problem with it.

Julia,

Start another thread for Voyage. It is best to have one thread per game only.

There is no snot where the Lake monster is located.
I am confused - are you still in the lab?
Have you finished the combination lock puzzle?
If you have - the snot should stop flowing at the center of the lab and you will see a book.
Read the book.

Julia,

Did the flow of snot at the center of the room stop? If so - you did it correctly.

If not - Do this:
Look at the list of books that you saw from the desk at the other room.
Look at those books on the bookcase in the order that is in the list.
Write down the shapes on the spine of the books in order seen in the list.
Then enter those shapes from outer to inner in the combination lock puzzle.

See if that stops the flow of snot at the center of the room.

I can send you a saved game. Can you work with that?
Or you can send me your saved game and I can play it for you.

The procedure to send or receive a saved game is on the stickied thread at top of the Hints main page.

Hi everyone,
I'm at the bridge after examining the castle. I checked the lake, talked to the monster. I can't use the mace on the gargoyles, it's blue and she doesn't pick it up. I can't get the dialog with the first gargoyle, she agrees to talk to the third one only, it doesn't respond. I followed the walkthrough and did everything so far... think

Julia - I sent the saved game (3 files) with some procedure to follow. luck

Springchicken, You have to do lots more things before you can talk to the first gargoyle. Please reread the walkthrough again.

MaG, I played from the beginning by the walkthrough, have all items mentioned in wt, talked to everybody, Barb, rats, fountain, opened the coffin, got the newspaper and so on up to the bridge. I checked 2 more times with the wt and didn't see anything missing. I don't know what else I can do... But I didn't get the real mace in the inventory, only it's blue image. Do I need to get the real thing? She refuses to carry it...

Have you been to the dungeon and did everything there?
Have opened and look down the pit?

Yes, I opened the pit, got the greenish smoke coming out, I don't remember if I clicked on the open pit, I better check it.

I used the mouth button on the pit before and did it again, got the same comments with the bat.
How can I use the mace on the gargoyle? The hand icon says 'pull out' and when I click on it, she says 'I did it already'.

Springchicken & GeeGee,
We'll have to wait for someone who's played the game. :wave12:

Springchicken, Take the blue mace from coffin. Use-click it on the third gargoyle/ If you have done everything, Mona will talk about hitting them. She will then automatically get the mace and then use it on the gargoyles.

GeeGee, Use the blue sword in inventory on the angelic statue. When the time is right to use it, she will get the real one.

Hi GeeGee,

The sword should be in the castle entrance hall. :wave12:

Edit: Aha, you found it!

MaG, that's the problem - I can not take the mace from the coffin, I tried to click and pull it, no luck, only got the cross with the 4 icons in the coffin. Could you please send the saved game?
