What OS are you installing? I'm so jealous - I want to do another one!

I'm installing Windows 7 Professional 64-bit. You could always take the one you have now, take it apart and put it back together For me, this one should be enough to hold me for awhile. I like putting it together, but cable management drives me bananas! I still have so much to do. Here's hoping everything tests out OK.

Yup, cable management is a huge challenge. I do love those velcro ties.
I'd love to see some pics!

Any of you are playing with a controller?
I have the Logitech controller (for PC) and a PS3 controller, Windows 7 recognizes both but I cannot set either of them for the game.
The PS3 controller keeps the 4 lights on and it doesn't have any control of the game, with the Logitech I can walk but this is all, not even look around, I tried from the options menu but it doesn't seem to do anything.
This is the only game of this type in this PC, then I don't know if one of them works properly with other games.

Bummer. I did put in a combo floppy/card reader and am glad I did. Ah, well, there are always inexpensive external floppies and card readers to be had.

Ya know, the HP DVD drive I installed acted that when I first installed it. I thought I was going to have to RMA it, but then it settled down and started working like it was supposed to.

I'm game, but I'm not going to have any time for a day or two. Let me know when you get a group together! I haven't played in awhile either.

That's no problem. Let's see the group consists of, myself and then you, so far Well, that's half way there. I have a bunch of gaming buddies from Steam, it's just hard choosing one that is more at our level. I've hardly played L4D compared to some, especially recently. Maybe someone from this board would be interested?
