Thanks Ana, tried this for 15 minutes and bought it. Very interesting game. Interactive with a lot of different things to do. Puzzles can be skipped and hints earned by finding an item in each scene. I like it.

I wonder what the IQ should be to be accepted as an agent the GIA - Genius Intelligence Agency and solve these crimes.

It appears by Gails post that it is an IHOG. Difficult to tell by the pics except for the inventory box.

The game disappointed me. The graphics are poor, the story doesn't hold up, I'll pass.

Yes, it's an IHOG....an interesting one in my opinion. There are hidden objects to find, but the player does collect and use inventory item as well. I bought it after only a few minutes' trial and am enjoying playing it.

Rejected it after the one hour trial. Dark and dreary graphics; primitive, really, after some of the current IHOGs we have experienced. The execution doesn't live up to the promise.

Played the demo, and I'm chomping at the bit now to buy the full version. But I've promised not to buy any new games until household chores that have been neglected for days are completed. Yikes, it's almost the weekend

so ... like the carrot in front of the donkey, this will be my reward.

Hope it''s a long one

Have you checked out the credits ... pictures of creators in costume, and, oh, those glamorous Russian names. The artwork is gorgeous, and 'dark and dreary' are suitable to the story

Wow... a lot of different opinions... guess I'll have to try this one. wink I love reading everyone's take on a game.

I tried it and like it. It isn't 1/2 as dark as Mind's Eye... I may buy it. I'm still playing the demo. I got so tired last night I had to shut it off... back to finish it now.

Well... the games gets darker as you progress... what a shame because I really liked it. These old eyes can't handle it though. I can't find a thing. frown I will have to skip this one too.

I liked it and bought it. Not very far in the game yet but I like the story and graphics so far. It has been a dry spell for me as far as IHOGs and Adventure games go. Great to have something to play.

I played the demo and found myself really engrossed in the time travel to stop a killer. There is hidden objects and some of the screens are too dark or not clear but I lightened my screen so I didn't have this problem anymore. The graphics are static and not that special. However I found myself intrigued with the storyline and I bought the game before demo was over.

The puzzles actually make sense how to use some of the objects you find. I am enjoying the game and it breaks all normal rules I have before I buy the game. I think animated graphics and voice overs would have helped it be a better game. However it is different and hope you give the hour a try. The music fits the scenes in my opinion it did not get on my nerves.

I'm actually fine with the dark atmosphere and the music as well, and the idea of an alternate version of the novel was intriguing. What ruined the game for me was the intrusion of the modern aspects into the game. It's all well and good to time travel, but to be able to manipulate the period with modern devices in order to gain the information you need, instead of working in the time context, did me out.

Also, one of the so-called "ace" agents was just a bit too clueless. If it was supposed to be humorous, it fell flat for this gamer.

I think this one is a mixed bag that you either really like or don't like enough to buy. I fell in the latter category.

I am currently reading the novel "Crime and Punishment (on my kindle, it's free) and also playing this game. It makes for an interesting experience. Although the game does not follow or reflect the novel very well the game is great.

Great game. Love the story and plenty of interesting gameplay. The authentic sites and sounds definitely add to the experience. A little bit of everything. Well worth the $6.99.

I am playing this now. Also bought it before finishing demo. One thing I don't like, is when you are doing a puzzle, the "skip" button is very close to the puzzle and I managed to press it by accident twice. It is pretty long and interesting; and I believe, replayable to see what you didn't get the first time. Good game.
