I've been having this problem for several days now.
I searched for info on Darkness Within 2, and the following is an excerpt of what I see:

Is the lovely, wonderful, brilliant, clever beyond all reasoning MaGs going to write a walkthrough for this, or is anybody else who is also all of the above doing a walkthrough???

I hope I have grovelled enough!! [HTmLS3ARCHH1GHL1G|-|T]2[/HTmLS3ARCHH1GHL1G|-|T]>/praise.gif" alt="praise" title="praise" height="15" width="29" /> [HTmLS3ARCHH1GHL1G|-|T]2[/HTmLS3ARCHH1GHL1G|-|T]>/Thanks.gif" alt="thanks" title="thanks" height="20" width="47" />

There's one [HTmLS3ARCHH1GHL1G|-|T]2[/HTmLS3ARCHH1GHL1G|-|T]HERE in the meantime if you're desperate!

I have no idea why I'm getting brackets all over the place. Does anyone have any ideas?

I hope someone can help Mary because when she PM'd me about this, I was completely stumped about why all the HTmL code was appearing for her.

And what was happening at the same time (but has now seemed to clear up) was the fact that I kept being told to log in, which I did, it was recognized that I was logged in, but as soon as I clicked on a forum, I was no longer logged in.
That has cleared up, it seems, but not what I'm seeing on some of the boards.

And yes, I WAS clicking "remember me" when I was signing in.

It looks like the search feature is glitchy. Let me talk to the programmer.

Glad the log in problem is cleared.

------------

Mary,

Please do a search without using '2'. Just Darkness within.
Keep us posted.

I still have the problem with staying logged in. I have to log in every time I open GB. If I click "remember me", it throws me out as soon as I change forums.

If I don't click "remember" I stay logged in for all the forums, but the next day I am not logged in again.

I am running Windows 7

My Windows 7 works perfectly here and at all my other frequently visited websites.

Clear out your internet explorer temp files and see if that helps. Just shooting in the dark here.

cathy , i was going to suggest that also , as i had that problem some months back. it only made the brackets and "foreign language" nonsense when i tried to get into glitches, and i thought it was a javascript problem . cleaned the files , all ok.
