I am block in the midle of that game and therefore, have requested and received a saved game from an other avid adventure gamer.
My problem now is that I have difficulties installing that SAVED gave.
I have succeded to locate my own saved games for that tgame (in my documents) but even if i succeed to drag the received saved game to the right place and mark it correctly, when i do start the game, I do not find it.
The last registered saved game I see is my own last one.
Any idea how to proceed.
Even Big Fish from who I bought the game, is unable to help my. As far as City Interactive is concerned, they did not even answer my request (quite a good support team).
My OS is Window 7 and my game is a French version.

Be sure that you have correctly renumbered the 2 files sent to you as the last numbers in the folder in My Documents.

Then when you play-load; look for the sent saved game at start of the list. They are arranged by dates. luck

Unfortunately, it is not that simple.
When I open the game and look for that new SAVE I am suppose to have succesfully installed, I don't see the the image corresponding to that save.
The image I should see is not there.
I even did try to put in a tempory file, all my own SAVES game (22 in total) and install in the game, only the needed one I have receive from an other gamer. In such a case, when I open the game, I see no SAVED game from which a should be normally able start my game.
My only choice is to start as a new game.
Any other suggestion ????

Did you receive both a save.AOM and save.PNG? The PNG is the image that corresponds to the actual save game (AOM).

The files must be renamed, in sequence, as pairs. If you already have a save0022.aom/png rename each new save as save0023, 24, 25 etc... aom/png.

Yes.
I received both. They were rename correctly as 0023 png and 0023.aom (my last personal save being numbered 0022) and put in place, in the appropriate file.
I even tryed, at a time, to overwrite my last SAVE (0022) with that new one, but it did change nothing.

Some of these saves from one publisher to another are not compatible. I think this is one of them.

Is your game NA or European release?

The game was dowloaded from BIG FISH game (France) in order to have it in french (I am a French Canadian).
CITY INTERACTIVE would be the best place to go for help, but their customer service (support) is almost inexistant.
I have tried many thing so far and hope to be able to go to the buttom of it.
Thank you for your help so far.

If still no go after all the advice given and more to come I am sure, you could always join the French Forum below and ask them for a save game:

http://www.jeuxvideopc.com/forums/jeux/j...ste_sujet-1.htm

Or this one that I forgot to include:

http://www.jeuxvideo.fr/jeux/art-of-murder-2/forum/

Bonne Chance
Ray

The last idea I have receive, which make probably sens to me, would be that in order to be able to make the thing work, I would have to make sure that the SAVED game I am trying to install, comes from a GAMER having dowload the game from BigFish (or some other master server) instead of coming from a person having bought the CD of that game.
What do you or other gamers think about that and do you have such a SAVE.
Thank's

I did follow your suggestion and it did work. The problem was one of compatibility issue.
A save coming from a CD do not fit on a game downloaded from a master server like BIGFISH. So, I did ask for a SAVE (BIGFISH type) on Jeuxvideo.com (French web site)and succeeded to install it instantly on reception.
Thank's
