Is there any way to determine if a game will play in my PC? Sometimes I can get games that work fine & then other times they crash, freeze, etc. BFG is very good about trying to help by sending Dr Felix to help but he doesn't take care of it so I am left with having paid for a game that will not play. Granted my PC is acting up & probably needs to be replaced but I just wondered if there's a way I can tell if it's going to work before I buy it?!
Thanks

Just download the demos.
If I can play for an hour without it causing problems-I buy otherwise its a no-no. wave

If you buy a game from Big Fish that doesn't work for you, let Big Fish know and they will give you a credit for another game. You aren't left paying for a game that won't play.

Thank you Jenny100. They have never offered a credit!! I think we all assume the problem is with my PC (which it probably is). I have been having problems since a virus struck it - for which I got wonderful advice here but it was such a terrible one it infected my games (wouldn't even let me play). And this was even with Malware and Spyware. Daughter had to do a lot of tweaking to get it to a playable time. I probably need to get a new one. The advice from Upsydaisy was on the spot. I tend to just jump in & buy when they are the $2.99s & $4.99s without giving any thought to whether they are playable on my PC or not.

It sounds like you'd benefit from a reformat/reinstall of Windows. Getting rid of a virus does not fix files that have been damaged or deleted by the virus.

That's what I am planning to do, ecept I am under the impression that I will lose where I am in the MILLION of games I'm playing right now. I know I will get back my BFG games but I would have to start over again??

Thanks for the help

You can always try a repair install, assuming you have the original OS media.

Perform a Repair Installation

I'm assuming you're running XP.
