Has anyone else been unable to install Machinarium? clicking on the install icon under my computer does nothing.

I thought I had a faulty disc but didn't. This is what I had to do. With the disc in the drive, I went to My Computer and right clicked on the drive, then clicked Open. I had to wait a bit, keeping an eye on my DVD light to see whether it was doing anything or not. It took probably 5 minutes and then it started to install.

That sounds like something was scanning the disc before allowing you access to it. Do you have an antivirus running that would do that?

I just saw your post. Were you asking me about the antivirus running? My Norton may have been running, but the thing was that I had to take a different route than usual to install it. It wouldn't auto install and there was some other place (can't remember exactly what now) that I tried and that didn't work either. Only worked as stated above, by right clicking Open on the drive with the disc in it.
