hi - i was having trouble starting this game after. "error have to close" when i "took control" so i bought a new one. same problem.
as soon as she says "this must be the place" and i take her to the bandit with the gun the game crashes. i tried to find a patch but no luck - can any of you help. diver

diver, this is a common glitch in this game which needs a patch. Unfortunately, I no longer have it. I think Jenny pointed me to it, so maybe she still has a link.

thanks - i ran into this same problem on the old game that i had, a long time ago and found a patch. this time i downloaded the atlantis3V30zip and it didn't seem to work. could be i am doing something wrong. i unzipped the patch but, i don,t know how to get it into the game. thanks for your help with this. i loveeee this game.

The Atlantis 3 game (published in Europe) and the Beyond Atlantis 2 game (renamed by Dreamcatcher and published in North America) may be the same game, but the game folders had different names and the exe files may also have had different names (Atlantis3.exe vs BeyondAtlantis2.exe or something like that -- the ".exe" part won't be visible in Windows Explorer unless you enable viewing of file extensions).

Anyway, I was able to find the Dreamcatcher version of the patch (for Beyond Atlantis 2 version rather than the European Atlantis 3 version) thanks to the Web Archive. See if you can download it from ***here at the web archive***.

Glad to hear it worked for you. It's great that the web archive managed to archive at least some of Dreamcatcher's patches for older games.
