I realised that it is not the Bing Toolbar I want to delete but the Bing Search Engine that comes up when I open Internet Explorer 9.

Is this possible to do?

I do not remember on what it opened before? MSN????

Thanks.

Chief wave

EDIT: got it by going to tools at upper right, then Internet Option and then change the address to MSN in the rectangle on top (if it is MSN you want).

Chief look at the upper right hand corner and look for an icon that looks like a gear.

Left click on the gear icon and scroll down and left click on Internet Options. Another window opens and you should be in the General tab. Third from the top is a heading that says Search. Click on the settings button and another window will open where you can enable/disable search functions.

If Bing is activated it will say Enabled under status, so click on Enable and it will change to Disable. I can't remember if another windows pops up asking if you want to do this but if it does tell it yes. Then click Ok, then Apply and you should be set.
