You say you contacted Big Fish. Can you download anything else from the internet not connected with Big Fish? Have you tried using a different browser?

other downloads are affected as well as Big Fish
my antivirus is McAfee It wouldn't surprise me if McAfee was blocking your downloads. It wouldn't be the first time it's done something like this after an update.

Janice go to a trusted site, a site where you usually download, disable McAfee, and try to download something you had trouble downloading. If you can download without problems, re-enable McAfee and try to download something else from the same site. If you have troubles downloading then you'll know McAfee is the problem.
If McAfee is indeed causing the problem, I can't remember for sure, but I think it's possible to go into McAfee's settings and tell it which sites, Urls, to trust and allow downloading from.
If something gets your goat, it just proves you have a goat to get.

If you can download without problems, re-enable McAfee and try to download something else from the same site. If you have troubles downloading then you'll know McAfee is the problem. "Disabling" McAfee doesn't always work because it doesn't disable completely. People have even uninstalled McAfee and still not been able to download because the uninstall left remnants of McAfee behind. They had to actually run the McAfee uninstaller tool (MCPR.exe - "McAfee Consumer Products Removal") after uninstalling to get rid of it. I think McAfee sometimes gets corrupt and has to be uninstalled and reinstalled to get it functioning properly again. You do need the removal tool for that. Of course if it's merely misconfigured, what Homer suggests should work. But if it's become corrupt, check the instructions for uninstalling and reinstalling at McAfee. http://service.mcafee.com/FAQDocument.aspx?id=TS101331Since you can't download anything on the affected computer, you may have to download the removal tool on another computer and transfer it using a USB drive. The direct link to download the uninstaller is here http://download.mcafee.com/products/licensed/cust_support_patches/MCPR.exe

Why would IE 10 be the cause of no downloads? I did a web search but couldn't find any answers, though I did find more ways to block installation of IE 10. I also found IE 10 has reported bugs, but not what type of bugs.
IMHO, as with any newly released software, it's best to leave it on the shelf for several months before using it. This will allow the majority of problems to be found and fixed. And allowing the user to determine if it's a software they want to use.
If something gets your goat, it just proves you have a goat to get.

Why would IE 10 be the cause of no downloads? I think it was just due to an incompatibility with the Big Fish Game Manager. You know how Big Fish works -- you download a tiny file that starts the Game Manager, which automatically starts a download and install process for the game. If the Big Fish Game Manager isn't working, it can't download or install a game. The confusing thing was that Menahune said other downloads were affected besides Big Fish, which put us on the wrong track.
