Thank you for the wonderful WT MaGtRo. I'm at the beach and need to rearrange the flags to form a word to open the shell box. Am I supposed to pick these flags up to form the word and if so, how do I pick them up to move them to their proper places. They light up, I click on them and that's all I can do. What am I doing wrong? Thanks to anyone for your help!

No, you don't pick them up--once you've figured out what the word is, just click on the flags in the order of the letters in the word...

I believe you're supposed to click on them in the right order.

TOY BOX PUZZLER: Help! There are three "pages" to this puzzle, right? Do I just keep clicking on the striped tiles until I get pairs that fill up the entire board, then go on to the next page? I can only get three pairs on each "page". Any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks!

No, you look through all 3 pages to match a pair. They did an extra touch here.

I haven't tried this but try writing down the pictures on a page and then you can just match as you go along.

Interesting how different people approach puzzles like this. I just checked on what the first one on the first page was, then poked around until I found a match. Then did the second one, etc. Of course as I got things matched, it became faster and faster.

This beats a slider anytime--as long as it's not timed...

Need help again! How do I get Katie to talk about "wood" so I can get the e-mail with Casey going? I've got the piece of wood, I've seen the book with the doctor's name in it. I can't get the lantern at the top of the lighthouse to work until I've e-mailed Casey. Thanks for your help!!

Is the phone number in the back of the book (715) 555-9663 the doc's number? I tried to call and it won't let me through. Have you got the number for the wood doc? I thought the doc's number wouldn't show up in my phone until after I talked to Katie about wood??? Thanks MaGtRo!!

Yes the phone number is the one at the back of the book and it should show up on the phone directory.
You can scroll the directory or manually enter the phone number if you want to. Of course, this would be after you have talked to Katie and then Casey.

DUH! Is my face red! I didn't have the wood with the "SS" on it! Now I'm stuck on the lamp at the top of the lighthouse. I've gotten the e-mail from Casey, solved the puzzle at the Kettle, I have the oil. If I put the bulb in and try to close the door the bulb blows. Where do I put the oil in this confounded little lamp and how do I get it to work? Thanks so much!!

First, out of those lightbulbs - only one works okay. So you have to find out which one to save trips of up-down-up-down.... Hint - listen!

Second the front cover of the lamp is the one that is stuck. The lamp is placed in the back cover.

After you done the lamp and the oil - then press the button at the base of the lamp.

That's fascinating, Mags--talk about dumb luck, I just stuck my hand in the box and pulled one out at random, and got the right one first try...
