Amazon sent me a new game because of problems with first disc. Now I can't find the shed, I didn't have this problem with first game. When I went to save the game it had already a saved game. I am wondering if any one knows why. I unistalled first disc and installed new one . So nothing should be there. It is the name I had used in old game. I uninstalled and installed it again and still had same problem.
When I try to find the shed it says can't do this in dark. The only thing I can get going around the house is the celar door and it won't let me look up to see if it is the shed. I can't believe I am having this much trouble.

Most of the newer games uninstall the game but leaves the saved game intact. This might be the case with your setup.

As for the cellar door, do you have a flashlight?

Thanks to all that have helped. I solved the problem by going to saved game from first disc, then using my second disk . It then allowed me to get that part that was missing from first game. I am now on a roll again, hopefully will get farther this time.

I am still trying to collect bugs. I see them and click on box but how do I know if I am getting them? How do you know when you have collected 12 of them? I haven't looked for bugs at night yet but need to know what you do to capture them.

To see how many critters you have now, click on your critter box in your inventory and count them. To catch the bug, just click on it before it gets away and it will automatically go into the critter box.

I feel so ridiculous. I cannot find the way to forest. I keep ending up at the shed, cellar door or path to red. I hate to ask for help but I don't know what to do

Just got through collecting 12 critters so I think I can get around that forest.

From the house using the door from the kitchen just go forward, up the hump, then left, right and after some more clicks you will be at the start of the map of the forest, when the path splits right and left.

I found most of them during the day and the rest at night. Look at all the stones in the forest and also the compass stone just in front of the cellar door. Then at night, go to the cemetery and there is a stone on the right side just before the gates. Then check the logs and several stones have the glow worms.If you still haven't found all 12 then sleep and try again. Check the same places you checked before. I found most of the bugs on the right path right after you enter the forest and there are 2 logs in the map.

Thanks Mag Finally got all that bait. When you are looking for the birds at night,, do you have to click on the camera and camouflage before you start out or just click when you find the birds. I have come across these other birds before but now when I want them they are not there.

Best to look for the birds during daytime and you just click the camera-camouplage on the birds when you see them. As a clue - so that you won't go around like I did - you will get 5 birds now and the hawk later in the game.

i am really in trouble. I can't get the bucket of water soon enough. By the time I get back the forest is burning. I don't understand before I knew that water had to be thrown on I could see shed burning. I went back and saw an update on wT the explained how to put it out. Now after numerous tries I don't see shed on fire and I cannot get water fast enough. Any advice will be appreciated. I think I might be stuck for good

Hi Igos..I found that before getting "konked" and thrown in the shed..[just before clicking on the speaker]if I put the bucket under the pump, filled it with water and left it there, ready to be picked up..it gave me more time to go get it and get back to the shed..{it still takes about four buckets of water to put out the fire though]
..you can do it! just keep hauling water..:-) don't look at the "forest fire" just head back to the shed! hope this helps! Glynn

I have the water in bucket ahead of time. It is good to know that you need at least 4 buckets. But I never get a chance to go get a second bucket
it switches to that fire bear and then goes black. If i click on second chance instead of loading saved game will that help? But if i do this will I loose saved game?

I only needed one bucket because the fire on the shed was small - just a hole on a wall by the door. Why don't you send me a saved game prior to taking a picture of the hawk and I'll see what I can do.

Guess what I won't need to send you a saved game. I managed to put out my own fire. I was turning the wrong way after I got the bucket. Never got back to shed (who knows where I was)
Only needed 1 bucket of water to do it too. Thanks so much for helping.

I cannot find the ladder. I cannot get any further than the cellar door. I have been away for several days and I don't remember if I had talked to em about antiques. When I go there now I am not able to. Does anyone know if I can forget about the ladder and just go to cemetery?

The ladder will show you a spot in the roof where the speaker "was", it has since been taken down. It's on the left of the front porch. I'm not definite if you need to see that or not. When you're standing looking at the cottage, turn left, and your cursor should move that way.

I'm sure you can move on to the cemetary without a hitch. But you might have to go back to it later.

You're going the wrong way. Go outside by the front door facing the dock. Turn right like you're going to Red but before you go forward to the path, turn right to the side of the house. Go forward, look right and see a ladder leaning on the side of the house. Remember where you saw the red tailed hawk... that's where you want to go.

I am back again after a long break. I cannot seem to do the coke puzzle. In that first row at left I can't find any to fit the bottom of it. I found one that if I could switch it around it would fit but can't do that. What am I missing here?

If you move your cursor to the very edge of the 6 pack, upper left hand corner, you'll see a rotational arrow, click and the 6 pack turns to face the way you need it to.

The spigots will not move. Nancy says there must be a way to unlock these spigots. I think my problem is that I couldn't find all four dogs. The one in walkthrough that is between Iggy and the one with bird. I guess its lucy. Only the one with the bird did the map come up to mark. couildn't get that to happen on Xander. Can;t see a red button by spigots neither

If the problem is to move the spigots, pressing the red button will solve that. To find the red button - go towards and face the main door - the one that is barred with a wooden plank, turn right and see a roulette wheel. Click on the center metal thingie of the roulette wheel and it will open to show a red button. Press that.

The 4 pictures of the doggies are the one behind the bar, on the left wall while facing the barred door, to the right of the barred door and on the right wall.
