Hi Boomers,
Just looking for some feedback from gamers who've succesfully played the game on XP. The main question I'm asking myself at this point is: Is this game so old it must ABSOTIVELY use QuickTime 3.0???!?

eep!
If you're referring to Microsoft Virtual Pc, I went to the description page and I'm sure I'd be too nervous to fiddle around with that. Wouldn't want to risk further damaging my already precarious XP....

Hi, I played this game on my single core XP, that I bought in December of 2000. Just installed. It played just fine, it might be like some of the older games that have to have their version of Quicktime. I haven't tried to install or play on my newer 2006 or 2008 dual cores, as one has hyper-threading and some games just say no, and the other is a laptop that I don't want to carry disks to go with it. Still have a 98se, Scary Huh? Only if it's your ONLY computer, and you're using it on the Internet. Several Gameboomers have old computers with Windows 98, Windows 95, or DOS for playing older games -- but they're not on the Internet.

I've played Traitor's gate on my XP pc with hyperthreading. No problems as long as I used compatibility mode.
